Friday, June 20th is a non-operational day in lieu of National Indigenous Peoples Day, which is held annually on June 21st. As a result, Northland schools and Central Office will be closed on June 20th. National Indigenous Peoples Day celebrates the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples. Northland schools have been marking the occasion with events throughout the week. Classes will resume and Central Office will re-open on Monday, June 23rd.
