Hatching Chickens in the Classroom

For the last 21 days we have been incubating chicken eggs.  The kids have taken turns turning the eggs and making sure the incubator has been doing its job by keeping them warm.  The children have become egg-sperts and have done classroom presentations about their learning.  We were rewarded with 4 healthy, friendly baby chicks.  We have had lots of people stopping in to check them out.
